Just ordered Bad Girls series 8, complete collection by Saturday Still need X-Files series 7, but have no intention of getting 8 or 9, hated the series by that point.

Watched the first one, as I remember the rumour that Mulder and Scully were going to kiss. Course it never happened. Didn't bother with the second one.
X-Files was really at it's best during series 1 -3. Too many memorable ones. Squeeze/Tombs and Fire were ones that really creeped me out the most when they were first shown on TV.

Ditto, didn't mind a few of the alien ones, but was much more a fan of 'monster of the week' as they were known.

There was also a really good episode that I thoroughly enjoyed about a guy who suffered from pyromania, setting so many things alight whenever he was nearby and/or suffering from various passionate emotions, from anger to sadness

Fire is the only one that comes to mind, but I don't recall emotions being part of it. Was it the ep where he set people on fire (including himself in a bar) while posing as a deceased gardener? Mulder's old English girlfriend Phoebe was this ep.
